Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025
Candidates should possess the following qualifications to apply:
- Trade Apprentice (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist): Must have passed Matriculation and completed full-time ITI in the relevant trade, recognized by NCVT/SCVT.

- Note: Candidates with higher professional qualifications such as B.E, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA, or LLB are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit
As of 31 January 2025, candidates must be between 18 and 24 years of age.
- Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to SC/ST candidates (maximum age: 29 years).
- OBC-NCL candidates are eligible for a 3-year relaxation (maximum age: 27 years).
- PwBD candidates will be granted an additional age relaxation of 10 years. For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the relaxation will be 15 years, and for OBC-NCL candidates, it will be 13 years.
Stipend
